On this the 14th day of April A. D. one thousand eight
hundred and fifty five Personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace
within and for the county and State aforesaid (sic) Levy Frazier aged 34 years
a resident of Marshall County in the State of Alabama who being duly sworn
according to law declares that he is the identical Levy Frazier who was a
private
in the Company commanded by Capt. Stephen Armstrong in the regiment of Alabama
Volunteers commanded by Col. Benj. Snodgrass in the war with the Seminole
Indians in Florida 1837 for the term of Six months and continued in actual
service in said war for Fourteen days, that he has heretofore made application
for bounty land under the Ac of September 28, 1850 and received a land warrant
No.______ for eighty acres, which he has since legally disposed of and cannot
now return.
He makes this declaration for the purpose of claiming the
additional bounty land to which he may be entitled under the act approved 3rd
day of March 1855. He also declares that he has never applied for ( ? )
under this or any other act of congress. Any bounty land warrant, except
this one above mentioned.

Bidie residents of Marshall County in the state of Alabama upon our oath declare
that the forgoing declaration was signed and acknowledged by Levy Frazier in our
presents (sic) and that we believe from the appearance and statements of the
applicant that he is the identical person he represents himself to be.

State of Alabama - County of Marshall
On this First day of November a. D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty
personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace, within and for the county
and State aforesaid Levy Frazier aged thirty two yeas, a resident of Marshall
County in the State of Alabama who being duly sworn according to law, declares
that he is the identical Levy Frazier who was a private in the Company
commanded by Captain Stephen Armstrong in the Regiment of North Alabama Mounted
Volunteers commanded by Col. Benjamin Snodgrass in the war with the Seminole
Indians in Florida hat he volunteered at Bellefonte on or about the 26th day
October A. D. 1837 for the term of Six months and continued in actual service in
said war for the term of five months or more and was honorably discharged at
Fort Mitchell on the 11the day of April A. D. 1838 as will show on the muster
roll of said Company. He further states that he got his assigned
certificate of discharge wet and destroyed so it cannot be read.
He makes this declaration for the purpose of obtaining the
bounty Land of which he may be entitled under the act granting bounty land to
certain officers and soldiers who have been engaged in the Military Service o
the United States, passed 25th September 1850.

certify that I believe the said Levy Frazier to be the identical man who served
as aforesaid and that he is of the age above stated.

Peace in and for said county, duly sworn and commissioned in witness
